A back office for a neighbourhood pet store and grooming studio in Patna that had been running on memory — WhatsApp photos for orders, a pencil diary for grooming, a cash tin for riders and a nine-day-old spreadsheet for stock. Fourteen days of shadowing the shop floor turned into a seven-step order lifecycle with three exception branches, encoded as rules rather than reports: stock reserves on Confirmed, not Placed; no packing without a rider; Delivered and Paid stay separate steps so a cash shortfall surfaces the same day. 75+ screens, five roles, one shell — status readable in greyscale under bad shop lighting.
